After graduating from Lakefield College School in Ontario, he chose to attend Britannia Royal Naval College at Dartmouth instead of pursuing university.

Trivia

He served as the United Kingdom's Special Representative for International Trade and Investment from 2001 to 2011.

Family Life

He had a much-publicized marriage with Sarah Ferguson that spanned from 1986 to 1996. He and Ferguson had two daughters: Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
